As a business owner who has operated and continues to run a business in Dubai for over six years, I am a true representation of the majority of the BBG Membership. I have worked hard to personally grow my network and create a business based on strong core values to support businesses from MNCs to SMEs and the BBG has been an integral part of my success. I am applying for the Membership Growth Director to support the business team – who I have a great relationship with – and I would like to invest my time and ideas back into the membership to return the opportunities that the BBG has provided to me. My expertise and “will-do” approach will benefit the BBG and the membership addressing growth, retention and supporting on challenges felt by all businesses.
Having spent time with the BBG business team in my role as the IT service provider I understand the current membership’s needs and the aspirations of the BBG. I have experience of other networks’ attraction and retention strategies that I will personally take responsibility for integrating to build a greater, more diverse and relevant base that will benefit and enrich what it means to be a member of the BBG. I have expertise in digital and tech and this is an area that will advance the BBG to benefit the existing membership and attract more members. My first focus will be to work with the BBG Membership Experience Director to address the huge opportunities for members to support their business development and growth, enabling members to see the ROI and become more engaged.
