On 1 October 2021, Dubai is set to open its doors to the world when it begins hosting the eagerly anticipated Expo 2020. The event, which takes place every five years and runs for six months until 31 March 2022, will build on the foundations of 170 years of expo events around the globe and will be the first to be hosted in the MENA & SA (Middle East and North Africa & South Asia) region.
