Salary 20-25k/mth

This is a full-time role for a Finance Business Manager who will be responsible for overseeing and managing the financial operations of the company. The Finance Business Manager will work closely with the leadership team and will be responsible for financial planning and reporting, budgeting, and providing analytical insights to guide decision-making. They will also oversee HR and office operations. This role will be located in Dubai, but will have flexibility for work from home. Managing a team of four. Scope for the role to develop to FD level in the future.

Skills & experience required:

Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA or equivalent) with at least 5 years’ experience

Large private / Listed and SME experience would be preferable

Good knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)

Understanding of over-time revenue recognition and work-in-progress

Experience preparing and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations and the preparation and review of management accounts

Experience preparing financial statements

Experience in project based accounting and reviewing project/client profitability

An understanding of a company’s control environment and the ability to review internal controls

Strong in Microsoft Office

Experienced in managing a team and line management for minimum 2 years and comfortable delegating workloads


Work experience in a consultancy business or large accountancy practice

Commercially aware with strong administrative and organisation skills

Strong organisational skills and ability to juggle a changing workload

Experience preparing budgets and or forecasts

Experience in capacity planning

A strong leader who can provide strategic advice

An understanding of the UAE laws, both labour and free-zone compliance

Strong numerical with excellent verbal and written communication skills

Understanding of a scale up company process
