On the 12th of January, VHPS transformed into a festival ground, echoing with the melodies of children’s voices. Every child at VHPS participated, each singing with enthusiasm that was contagious. The atmosphere was electric, mirroring the excitement and joy of a true music festival. Students donned festival attire, complemented by self-made banners, wristbands, and lanyards, adding a personal touch to the vibrant setting.

Beyond the singing and festivities, VHPS students showcased their depth and understanding of global issues. Members of the Eco Club, passionate about sustainability, delivered moving speeches about the climate crisis and the impact of human activities on our planet and oceans. These moments were not just educational but deeply inspiring, reflecting VHPS’s commitment to nurturing socially conscious individuals.

The event, brilliantly organised by Mr Neil Brown, Head of Year 5, was a resounding success. His pride in the students’ efforts was evident, as was the school’s dedication to providing a holistic and engaging learning experience.

VHFest is more than just an event; it’s a testament to VHPS’s ethos – where education extends beyond the classroom, creativity is encouraged, and social responsibility is ingrained. Plans to make the next VHFest even more impactful are already underway, promising to uphold this tradition of joyous and meaningful learning.
