PwC Middle East NetZero Future50 Initiative

PwC Seeking to Connect with 50 Disruptive Innovations and Climate Tech Companies. Nominations close at 5PM today!

PwC is on the search for 50 disruptive innovations and climate tech companies making an impact on the road to net zero in the Middle East.

The Middle East NetZero Future50 initiative launched at COP27 following the publication of the  2022 Global State of Climate Tech   at COP27 and the Middle East State of Climate Tech regional viewpoints, at the end of 2022.

These reports took a macro level view at where climate tech investment is going globally and in the Middle East. They identified the gaps which, if filled, could help us reach the region's climate targets.

The outreach is to find relevant startups or organizations and to invite them to participate in the Middle East NetZero Future50 initiative.

The  typical audience of this report includes corporates, public sector and PwC clients seeking technologies that will help them achieve their own carbon targets as well as venture capital firms looking to make ESG investments. (Check out the UK Future 50 report  as the example on how selected companies will be profiled when published)

This is for innovators working on technology aimed at reducing emissions and accelerating decarbonisation, to nominate themselves for a chance to be shortlisted.

The pillars that are being considered for this report are:

1.    Mobility and transport

2.   Energy

3. Food, agriculture and land use

4. Industry, manufacturing

5. Built environment

6. Financial Services

7. GHG Capture, removal and storage

8. Climate change management & Reporting

The Future50 initiative aims to provide companies with a platform for growth and to help raise the profile of their innovative achievements within climate technology.

Nominations close on Friday 24  February at 5PM,  Please visit the PwC Middle East NetZero Future50 webpage to learn more
