The BBG Construction Working Group Lead and event host Cynthia Corby presented on the great work that has been done so far on identifying the key component parts across the life cycle of an asset - highlighting opportunity for greater efficiency, optimal procurement, sustainability and in delivery.

Guest speaker BBG Member Pallavi Dean Founder of Roar provided a fascinating and relatable overview of the opportunity and also some caution around the metaverse stressing the importance of readiness and the definite advantage of being an early adopter.

The Deloitte panel made up of Chris Clements, Mark A. Smith, Bhavna Lakhani and Aditi Litin moderated by Salimah E. really showcased the expertise of Deloitte across governance, data, intellectual property and AI.

Suzannah Newboult - Partner at DLA Piper summarised the in-depth session - with real life possible examples - of the likely pitfalls in entering a virtual world without fully understanding the legal aspects, terms of use and governance.
