Global Annual Conference Tickets are now free

Sharing some good news about our new ticket pricing

 

We’re pleased to announce that the tickets for this year’s Global Annual Conference will now be free.

During the last few weeks, you've told us that due to financial pressures, and due to the nature of a virtual event, you're unable to commit to as many tickets as you have done in other years.

You told us that the content is very strong – but that you and your members were unable to attend at the original pricing.

You spoke – we listened, and we’ve acted. Tickets for both days of the conference are now completely free.

 

 

Why have we done this?

 

We know that year’s conference will be one of our best yet – we have a superb line-up of senior politicians and business leaders alongside inspiring entrepreneurs and absorbing workshops. We want as many businesses as possible to join us for the two days to watch, connect and enjoy, yet you told us that that cost has been a barrier; one which we’ve just removed.

 

The event is much more than just a one-way street. The exciting virtual platform enables delegates to connect with other businesses – both nationally and internationally – and we hope that our decision to remove the ticket cost will bring in a flood of new people – with a flood of new opportunities to connect.

 

Put simply, we’re holding this event for you and your members and so we hope that by removing the barriers you’ll attend, engage, participate and fully benefit from the sessions.

 

 

 

 

We are asking for your help to make this a success – for all of us

 

We’re asking that every Chamber pulls out all the stops in promoting this event to their members and their local business community. Please share the news with your local community organisations, local business groups, local schools and colleges/universities. Now the tickets are free, we encourage everyone to attend to make it the most well-attended ever.

We need this to be a launchpad into next year’s Annual Conference, potentially a hybrid in-person and virtual event - where we will have to move the pricing structure back into a cost to attend.

 

 

 

 

Changes to the booking process

 

We have changed and simplified our ticketing structure. There’s now just one ticket for the two days. The flexibility of this means that you can dip in and out of the two days.

 

Some Chambers may have invoiced their own members directly for tickets. We suggest that you contact them to offer refunds.

 

You can find new booking procedure information forms new booking procedure information forms here should you want to book additional members, but for those who are already booked for the event there is no need to re-confirm.

 

Chambers can continue to manage their own bookings using the form above or direct members to the BCC Eventbrite page to book directly.
