The webinar will provide an opportunity for attendees to contribute to the discussion and share their experience and questions in relation to all aspects of employment law and HR management within the UAE over the past 12 months. The topics we will cover are:

• Covid19 and beyond – the current status of the Covid19 legislation within the UAE;
• Key regulatory developments – the employment law jurisdictions of onshore UAE and the common law systems in the DIFC and ADGM freezones have all implemented new employment laws this year. Laws relating to equal pay, parental leave and data protection were some of the key developments that it is important HR practitioners and in-house legal teams are aware of;
• Fundamental changes to workforce management – what lasting impact the events of 2020 have had on HR policies and practices within the UAE and what are we seeing in the market at the moment;
• 2021 – the introduction of the vaccine, the return to the office, and other legislation that is on the horizon for the UAE in the next 12 months.
