Update from British Centres for Business

Letter from CEO, Joe Hepworth...

Good Morning

The first quarter of the year is traditionally the busiest and 2019 has been no exception.  In the last three months we’ve looked after 150+ incoming exporters and supported more than 10 trade missions.  April is unlikely to be slow either, with Ramadan happening for the majority of the month of May (more on that in our next newsletter).

A recurrent theme throughout all sectors at the moment is the prevalence of Tech.  Dubai takes this seriously and applications for the next round of the Dubai Future Accelerators programme close tomorrow.

We also feature below a note from our friends at Diligencia on the importance of using data & information to undertake proper due diligence on potential commercial partners.

Finally, we welcome Rina to the team and sadly farewell Christina who is leaving us to return to her native New Zealand after 18 months of great service with the BCB.

Regards

Joe
