Hosted by cultural presenters at the Majlis for a very authentic Emirati experience.
Taking place in the wind-tower house in the heart of Al Fahidi District, the Historical Emirati neighbourhood, your evening begins with the Athan (the call to prayer) followed by the breaking of the fast with your Emirati hosts. Enjoy Arabic coffee and dates and then take a moment to watch your hosts pray, before a delicious array of Emirati dishes are served for Iftar. During the event, you are invited to ask any questions you may have about Ramadan, the culture of the traditions of the UAE. After Iftar, join us for a visit to the Diwan Mosque, before returning to SMCCU house for dessert and tea.
Included in this year's Iftar programme will also be a chance to visit SMCCU's camel Noora and her baby camel Asoof!
Please note that dress code is modest.
Free valet parking available.
Pictures will be taken during the event
