An experienced events professional, Michelle has worked with world leading brands across MENA and in her home country of England for over 15 years.
After graduating from the University of Kent with a degree in law, Michelle initially started her career in marketing with Bacardi Brown Forman Brands. Her subsequent years spent in brand management giving her the perfect insight into the importance of mission, vision and values of a brand to ensure messages and standards are implemented effectively.
Michelle moved to Dubai in 2008, continuing her work in brand management, this time for MMI. After three years familiarising herself with the market, she moved to Atlantis The Palm as F&B Marketing Manager, before joining Custard at the beginning of 2014.
Her first year with the Dubai-based events company, Michelle was seconded to DIFC to work as an Events Consultant. In 2015, when the secondment concluded, Michelle joined the Custard team in Dubai and has since progressed from Senior Project Manager, to Client Services Director, and ultimately in 2018 to General Manager.
As General Manager of Custard, Michelle is responsible for the leadership of the business and team, overseeing operations and event delivery. Her years spent client-side ensures she has a real understanding of their needs, and she passionate about being organized and is prepared for any eventuality.
