About our speakers:

Lydia Miller
is a UK qualified Psychotherapist, specialising in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) with several years of experience in various National Health Service (NHS) settings in the UK. Lydia is currently practicing in The Psychiatry and Therapy Centre in Dubai Healthcare City.
She has been involved in education, training and research at various levels and has presented research and professional development at international conferences. 

Dr Asad Sadiq has 16 years’ experience in Psychiatry and is currently a Consultant Psychiatrist & the Managing Director of Psychiatry & Therapy Centre, Dubai. In addition to his many accolades, he has a strong record of voluntary work with the award winning Bury Involvement Group (Queen’s Award) and in post-war Libya.
Dr Sadiq is also an Executive Coach, Soft Skills trainer and has a MBA from London Business School. 

Dr Walid Abdul-Hamid is Clinical Director and Consultant Psychiatrist at Priory Wellbeing Centre in Dubai Healthcare City.  He has 30 years’ experience from the NHS and Priory in the UK and is now based at Priory Dubai. Dr Walid has published over 50 articles of scientific research in scientific and medical journals and wrote the first (and only) book in Arabic on Psychological Trauma and EMDR published by ARABPSYNET.
Dr Walid was awarded the Clinical Excellence award in 2 consecutive years; 2008 and 2009 and the research and development Award in 2010 from the NHS, UK.
A member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists and previously Associate Professor at the University of London.
