How to Maximise Results in the Travel & Tourism Industry Using the Latest Digital Trends

Event Date
Wed, 12 April , 2017
Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai,

Travel and Tourism is seeing, and feeling, a change in how people research, decide, and choose their travel.  And this is going to keep evolving over the next few years due to changes in technology, commission structures, hotel operations, and customers’ demand for enhanced digital experiential aspects to support their decision-making process.

Trends such as virtual reality, augmented reality and 360° videos are all impacting the industry yet many professionals have not grasped the power of the opportunities they provide and many more worry about the investment while others question their ability to use these media appropriately.

There’s no need for any of this concern.

In this session, you will learn from industry expert, Adam Ridgway, more about these trends and how to use them to your advantage so that you can deliver what your customers want, when they want, how they want it.

About the speaker:

Adam Ridgway, 35, moved to the UAE in November 2008 and hasn’t looked back.

Prior to moving to Dubai, Adam had built an extensive career in TV in the UK working with organisations such Endemol, Tiger Aspect, Ricochet and Optomen, BBC, ITV and Channel 4. Thanks to his outgoing personality and comfort with being in the spotlight, Adam soon segued from TV production to TV and radio presenting.

Always on the lookout for new challenges, Adam quickly saw the potential in the emerging broadcast markets of the UAE and re-located with aim of starting something new. He eventually launched MEDIACUBED, a group of media businesses, including; AdBrand, Dotcasting and Travall.

Recently, Adam and his team have been awarded Distruptive Entrepreneur of the Year, asked to present at this year’s Arabian Travel Market as well as judge Decode Dubai and mentor young entrepreneurs and start-ups.
